NO ONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE IS ALLOWED TO BE AT THE BARN AT ANY TIME WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION.
Barn hours are 6:00am until 9:00pm, seven days a week.
What is the dress code for riding?
Each rider must have riding boots (short paddock boots are perfect for beginning riders), and an approved riding helmet. Tank tops are not allowed at the Boarding Barn.
When can I ride outside of my lesson?
When a ring is available, riders are encouraged to work on their flat skills. Jumping outside of a lesson is limited to "X" jumps only. NEVER RIDE ALONE.
When are Boarding Barn holidays?
In order to provide our staff with paid holidays, we are closed on: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Lessons that would normally fall on these days will not be rescheduled.
How will I know if a lesson is canceled due to weather?
Call our answering service at 794-6724.
How are canceled lessons rescheduled?
All lessons canceled due to extreme weather conditions will be rescheduled. We do our best to schedule make-up lessons in a timely manner. However, it may take several weeks to accomplish this. We appreciate your cooperation when weather conditions beyond our control require rescheduling lessons.
When is payment due?
Payment is due on the 10th of every month. If monthly payment is late, a $25 late fee will be assessed.
What if I know we will miss a lesson?
We require 24-hour notice of an upcoming absence to grant a make-up lesson. Please contact Vicki to notify us of any lesson(s) your rider(s) will miss. When we receive notification, we will reschedule the missed lesson. We do not offer "credits" for missed lessons as our expenses are fixed year-round. We depend on this budgeted income to keep the riding school in operation (our horses fed, and in good health).
Are private lessons available?
Forty five minute semi-private lessons with 2 riders, and thirty minute private lessons may be requested, and will be scheduled as resources allow. |
