At the James River Equestrian Center, good sportsmanship is one of our main focuses. Relationships that are made and grown here can be life long as well as life changing. We strive to improve, be competitive, and have fun, with good sportsmanship as a priority. To reinforce this focus, in 2009, we implemented two perpetual rider awards. See below for more information on each award, and the current recipient of each award. Also below are special recognition/accomplishments of our riders. |

Congratulations to Julie, recipient of the 2010 JREC Junior Rider of the Year award. This award is presented at the end of each summer to the rider that displays sportsmanship (great attitude, very supportive of others, and always tries her best to improve). A plaque in the barn displays each winner's name, and a picture of the current recipient. Spencer was the 2009 JREC Junior Rider of the Year recipient.
