LESSONSWe offer lessons in groups of 3 to 5 riders which last for one hour at a time. Lessons are available Monday through Thursday and are set for a regular day and time each week. Lessons are scheduled and billed based on a calendar month. One lesson a week is $220 each month. We offer a limited number of private lessons. To be eligible for the private lesson, you must first take and pay for a group lesson each week. The private lessons are additional and offered as available. The slots are limited. Private lessons will be billed by the trainer at the cost of $60 per lesson.

REQUIRED ATTIRERiders shall come to lessons in the below required attire: ASTM approved horse riding helmet. Riding Boots. Long pants, NO shorts. NO spaghetti string tops. Hair is to be tied back.

CANCELLATIONS AND MAKE-UPSIf you have to miss a lesson, we require at least 24 hours notice to receive a make-up. If you cancel your lesson with less than 24 hours notice (with the exception of an emergency) we will not be able to schedule a make up lesson. If we need to cancel lessons due to inclement weather, we will text each client to cancel the day and schedule a make up lesson. Make up lessons must be re-scheduled within one week of the missed lesson or the lesson is forfeited. The make-up lesson does not have to occur within that one week period. The make up lesson just has to be on the books within one week.

HOLIDAYSLessons will not be held on the following holidays. Lessons that fall on these days will not be made up. New Year's Day Memorial Day July 4th Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve Christmas Day

VACATION TIMEInstructors each receive two weeks of vacation per year. Lessons scheduled during vacation leave will not be made up.

OUR HOURSOur barn hours are: Monday 6:00am-9:00pm Tuesday 12:00pm-9:00am *please note we are CLOSED on Tuesdays from 6am-12pm. Wednesday 6:00am-9:00pm Thursday 6:00am-9:00pm Friday 6:00am-9:00pm Saturday 6:00am-9:00pm Sunday 6:00am-9:00pm Clients are welcomed to come and ride their animals anytime between those hours.

SAFETY AND BARN RULESTo keep the students, families, and horses safe we ask everyone follow these safety rules: Barn hours are 6:00 am to 9:00 pm EVERYONE riding at JREC must have a completed and signed (by a parent in case of a minor) Equine Release Form on file. The form can be downloaded below or found in the second drawer of the filing cabinet in the barn office. No smoking at or within 50 feet of the barns. No electric water heaters are allowed inside the barn. No one under 18 yrs old is allowed to be in the barn alone at any time. If you see anyone you do not recognize, ask if you can help them. Please keep your stall area clean and neat. Clean off your tack trunk on a regular basis Jumping outside of a lesson is limited to a FEW times over an "X" only. Boarders are responsible for their horse's vet and first aid needs. Any drugs must be individually purchased from the vet. Everyone needs to keep a supply of the following: vet wrap, rolled cotton, 3x3 non stick pads, betadine, antibiotic ointment, bute, scissors and duct tape.

PAYMENTBoard, Lesson and Farrier fees are billed monthly. Invoices are texted the last week of the month. They are due the 1st of each month. Payments are considered late if not received by the 10th of each month and will incur a $25.00 late fee. No exceptions.

EQUINE RELEASE FORMAnyone who sits on a horse at JREC must have a completed and signed (by a parent in the case of a minor) Equine Release Form on file. This includes any friends who wish to ride a boarder's horse. Download the form below or find one in the second drawer of the filing cabinet in the Barn office.
